Ronald James Muery, of Bellville Texas, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Ronnie was born April 23, 1953, in Brenham, Texas the son of Otto James Muery and Minerva Rudloff Muery. He grew up and went to school in Bellville, graduating from the existing Bellville High School In 1971. His class was the first to graduate from the auditorium. After High School, Ronnie went to Blinn Jr. College in Brenham, Tx, and went on to Texas A&M in College Station receiving a degree in Animal Science.

Following in both grandparents’ footsteps, he went to work with Ottmer Brothers as a carpenter. After many years with Johnny, Dennis, and David he was employed by Mr. Hord at Mossey Oaks Ranch and enjoyed working with Mr. Mike Wise.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church member and the National Rifle Association member.

Ronnie loved the outdoors, fishing with his nephews, hunting, trapping, an excellent bowhunter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Minerva Muery, and sister Brenda Lee Muery.

Ronnie is survived by his sister Pam Goebel and her husband Lee Goebel of Cat Spring, nephews Patrick Goebel and his wife Michelle, son Branson, Blair Goebel and his wife Tammy, Twins, Lorelei and Levi, Jordan Goebel and his wife Krista, Daughters Avery, and Harper.

Pallbearers are Patrick, Blair, Jordan Goebel, Seth Grawunder, Cary Burnley, Dustin Slupak, Tom Grawunder, and Frank Monk.

Honorary Pallbearers are Nathan and Colby Grawunder, Mike Wise, Maurice and Butch Newman, Bradley Schwarze, Wayne Thompson, William Krueger, Jerry Rudloff, and The Ottmer Brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Retreat Center in memory of Ronald (Ronnie) Muery.
