Robert (Bob) Jack Meacham, born in Clinton, Okla. on Dec. 17, 1930 passed away on Feb. 19, 2014 at The Christopher House Hospice in Austin.

He had lived an interesting life as a rodeo cowboy and was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1999.

Bob had made his home in Cat Springs in the countryside of Bellville for 50 years and leaves behind a history of friendships in the area.

He is survived by his daughters; Melissa Brinckmann (Austin), Karen Pustejovsky (Virginia), Michelle Meacham-Merlo (Austin) Julie Meacham (Austin), grandchildren; Camille Bond, Riley Meacham and Trey Lewis; great-grandchildren; Bijou and Oona Bond and a brother, Ed Meacham (Norman, Okla.) and sister, Judy Chupik (Cypress) along with several nieces and nephews including Larry Meacham of Cat Spring.

A memorial service will be held at his home church, The All Around Cowboy Church at 5812 Crosstree Lane, Sealy, Texas 77474 on March 2, 2014 at 1p.m.

Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The All Around Cowboy Church, Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame (PO Box 4485, Fort Worth, Texas 76164) or The Austin Hospice Christopher House (2820 E. Martin Luther King Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78702) in memory of Robert Meacham.
