Angilena Gleason went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1935 in Richards, Texas to Stanislaus and Agnes (Walkoviak) Loukanis. Angilena was a proof transit operator for 2nd National Bank of Houston before marrying her husband, James J. Gleason. In her free time she enjoyed painting and travelling, but most of all loved spending time with her children and grand- children. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Angilena was a lifetime member of the Baytown Art League and was also a member of KJZT (Katolicka Jednota Zen Texaskych), a Catholic fraternity. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Agatha Busa and Orena Loukanis; and grandson, Christopher Gains. Angilena will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Angilena is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James J. Gleason; sons, Jimmy Gleason and wife, Teri, William M. Gleason and wife, Venitia; daughter, Linda Gaines and husband, Randy; grandchildren Christi and husband Kelly, Billy and fiancé, Jodie, Cody, Brittany, Cullen, Jaymee; great-grandson, Carter

A visitation for family and friends was held Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Sterling-White funeral Home in Highlands, Texas. Services were held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11 AM also at Sterling-White with interment at Sterling-White Cemetery.
