Delmer "Dick" Tipp, of Sealy, passed away July 31, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Tipp was born in Bernardo. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 Atchison in Sealy with Rev. Lani Rousseau and Rev. Becky Downs co-officiating. Interment followed at the Sealy Cemetery. Friends called at Knesek Bros. Hwy. 36 Funeral Chapel, 1140 Meyer St. in Sealy from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 Atchison, Sealy, Texas 77474; Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231; or the American Cancer Society, 1669 Peters, San Felipe, Texas 77473.
