Regina C. Duell, 70, formerly of McKean, Pa. died on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, in Katy, Texas.
She was born February 25, 1952, in McKean, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Orval L. Yost and Violet Yost. Regina(Gina) was raised and educated in McKean, Pa, graduating from General McLane High School in 1970. She married Gerald (Gary) Duell on July 15, 1972. She became a certified surgical technician in the early eighties. She had a wonderful and rewarding career for twenty-five years. After her early retirement, she was able to garden, cook and spend more time with her family. She was a member of the Bread of Life church from 1981 until 2001. Regina loved to host parties and cook for her family and friends, garden, sew, and reading the bible. Regina had a heart for the homeless and telling people about the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Orval Yost, Randy Yost, and Brenda Yost. She is survived by her husband Gerald (Gary) L. Duell of Katy, Texas, her daughter Tara Michelle Bailey of Spring, Texas, her daughter Amy L Duell of Katy, Texas, and son Ryan M. Duell of Newington, Connecticut, and her two grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Duell of Newington, Connecticut. Also surviving is Cherie Yost, Roger and Debbie and Yost, Karen Leehan, Jimmy Yost, and a lot of nieces, nephews, And great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are private. The memorial will be announced at a later date. |
