Mable Dimick, born Feb. 21, 1928 in Palestine, Texas passed from this earthly life on July 3, 2014 in Bellville. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Flossie Eilenberger and by her grandson James Bailey White. She is survived by her husband Don Dimick of Bellville and her children Cindy Gernand of Angleton, Becky (Charlie) McGuire of Sugar Land, Scott Dimick of Wichita, Kansas, and Tracey Dimick of Brookwood Community. She also leaves behind four grandchildren - Jalyn White-Wick of Sweeny, Jodi Brooks of Hong Kong, Heather Burrow of Waco and Amanda McGuire of Glasgow, Scotland. In addition she leaves to cherish her memory seven great grandchildren. Mabel worked for many years at Dow Chemical in Freeport. In her retirement years she became an avid quilter and loved her quilting friends. We will all miss her sweet smile and gentle words. A memorial service was held at the Bellville United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 8 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, Texas.
