Rites in Jackson today for former Lamar official.
Jackson - Services were to be held at 3:00 PM today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home for Julius Milton. Shedd Sr. 72, a former sheriff and chancery clerk of Lamar County. Mr. Shad, who moved to Jackson after holding political offices in Purvis, died Wednesday. Survivors were two daughters, Mrs. W.F. McMurry, Jackson, and Mrs. H.R. Wells, Italy, TX.; a son Julius M Jr., Houston, TX.;3 grandchildren; a brother Warner H. Shedd. Inglewood, CA., and a niece. Mrs. Oscar B. Cutrer, Baton Rouge. Mr. Shedd had lived in Jackson for 24 years. |
