This bank is capitalized at thirty thousand dollars, and has a surplus of six thousand dollars, and its officers and directors are all men of the highest business standing in Austin County and southeastern Texas.
Mr. Machemehl married, in 1904, Addie Reichard, a daughter of Charles Reichard, of Bernardo, in Colorado county, he having come to Texas from Germany in 1850. The two children of this marriage union are Louis A., Jr., and Adel Heide.
