Martha Montgomery Reese
Died at her home in Sempronius, Texas, on Wednesday March 2, 1910, at 11:45 a.m., Mrs. K. W. Reese, nee Montgomery, wife of Capt K. W. Reese, a long time resident of Austin county. Mrs. Reese comes of one of the old families of the county and besides her immediate family which consists of her husband, three daughters and one son, she leaves a number of other realatives to mourn her passing away. For some time past Mrs. Rees had been suffering with a malady which resulted in her demise, and the end of her very useful and exemplary life was not unexpected. One brother who survives her is Mr. F. L. Montgomery of Eda and her sisters are Mesdames American Crump, Florence Cochran and Carrie Crawford and Miss Maggie Montgomery. All of these are well known to many of our people and to them as well as to the member of the immediate family sincere sympathy is extended. The funeral is to take place from the family home at Sempronius tomorrow, Friday, March 4th, and interment will be made at Oak Knoll cemetery here at 12 o'clock. The TIMES begs to extend its sympathy to the bereaved in their hour of trial. |
