The Bellville Times
January 31, 1918 Joseph Caletka, aged fifty-one years, ten months and 19 days, died at his home at Cleveland Prairie on January 25, 1918. Burial was made on January 26th at St. Nicolai churchyard west of Cat Spring, by Hugo Becker Lodge No. 79, O.D.H.S. Justice A.C. Theuman also speaking appropriate words at the grave. Mr. Caletka is survived by his wife, and 2 sons, Charles & Eddie Caletka, by 2 daughters, Mrs. Ellie Blaschke & Miss Alma Peschel; by a brother, Charles Caletka, and a sister, Mrs. Novosad. The deceased was born in Bohemia. He came to Texas as an infant & lived the remainder of life at Cat Spring. Posted by Natalie McLain |
